BC firefighters lose vax case

“I understand some union members who choose not to comply with the policy may suffer significant consequences to their personal lives,” wrote Noonan.

An appeal by a group of BC firefighters to halt a mandatory vaccination program has been rejected by a labour board adjudicator, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

The firefighters’ union local in Richmond BC described the vaccination order as intrusive and heavy-handed.

“I make no findings as to the merits of the union’s grievances,” wrote Randall Noonan, adjudicator in the case.

He dismissed the firefighters’ request to overturn the City of Richmond’s Covid-19 Vaccination Policy pending the outcome of a full hearing March 21.

Richmond last October 25 ordered employees to disclose their vaccination status and show proof they’d taken COVID-19 shots under threat of suspension without pay. Members of the International Association of Professional Firefighters Local 1286 opposed the measure.

Of 253 firefighters in Richmond nine declined vaccination.

Local 1286 in a submission said rigid enforcement would see some firefighters “choose between getting a vaccine they do not want or giving up on their careers as firefighters.”

Unvaccinated employees in affidavits said they were the sole wage earners in their families, feared they’d lose Employment Insurance and health benefits and would have to sell their homes if they were suspended without pay for months at a time.

“I understand some union members who choose not to comply with the policy may suffer significant consequences to their personal lives,” wrote Noonan.

“However I do not have enough evidence before me to show that there is an equivalent or acceptable alternative to the policy that would meet the goals of preventing the spread of the virus while eliminating those personal consequences.”

Noonan said the policy was undeniably a breach of privacy but appeared justified by circumstances.

“Having to disclose one’s medical status or being vaccinated against one’s wishes are harms that are not fully reparable once they have occurred,” he wrote.

However the pandemic was “an unusual situation in which preventive measures override what in other circumstances would be improper,” added Noonan.

“If I were to grant the order sought by the union and subsequently employees or others were exposed to the virus and became seriously ill or died, there is no amount of a monetary award that could remedy that,.”

Other labour arbitrators and federal judges have similarly declined to issue injunctions against vaccination policies pending full hearings.

Privacy Commissioner Daniel Therrien last December 9 told reporters it was unclear whether governments had the legal right to enforce vaccine mandates.

“Is it reasonable for public health purposes for governments to require the disclosure of this information? The question is not as clear-cut as it might seem,” said Therrien.

“We are investigating.”

Noonan is another pissant who needs to be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a barbed wire covered rail. He must have originated in kweebec and attended duty in turdie’s calamitous court as a jester. The listed qualification for his job was no sense, no reasoning process, and no scruples in the mix. I do however have employment for him as a mudflap on the left rear wheel of my manure shredder spreader.

So Noonan says, “If I were to grant the order sought by the union and subsequently employees or others were exposed to the virus and became seriously ill or died, there is no amount of a monetary award that could remedy that,.”

Question…. and if subsequently to receiving a coerced shot, that employee became seriously ill or died from it (ie: heart attack or any of the attributed cardiac problems), what amount of monetary award would remedy that?? Idiot!

Cities like this will be begging their unjabbed to come back soon enough when those who have been jabbed get sick and die on the job. Look whats happening in health care in multiple jurisdictions.

Barbara, I looked at the Alphonso Davies article and other ones. They do not mention his vaccinations and try an pin it on him previously having covid.

The media are criminal and no better than an evil person trying to commit a person to commit suicide or to do something dangerous while knowing so and saying it is safe. There is no record of Alphoso Davies having a severe case of covid. Covid spike proteins (the dangerous part of covid) are many times more prevalent in a jabbed person than a person who catches covid. The media neglecting to mention Davies’s vax history is criminal and close to murder.

In recent days, the largest newspaper in Denmark apologized for the way they covered the Covid-19 scamdemic for the last 2 years. Very little chance the Liberal Party bought and paid for propagandists that make up the Kanadian media would ever have the integrity to do so. This country is sick and corrupted beyond repair.

Noonan is obviously another uninformed dumb Canook . . . .

As VAX casualties pile up all over the world . . . who the hell cares if the guy who comes to put out your Burning House is VAXED?

Stuckelberger, who lives in Geneva, believes that vaccination must be stopped immediately. “On the grounds of the content of the vaccines. After 30 years of research, I know that when you have one, two or three case studies and you observe under a microscope, for conceptual evidence, then you do not need to do more research. What you see under a microscope is proof enough. When up to ten experts around the world see the same thing under the microscope, that’s enough.

“In the vaccines they see graphene, parasites, metals… Therefore we should stop the vaccination, and ban all injections. Those who continue should be prosecuted.”

According to Stuckelberger, the death rates and side effects that are reported make up only 1-10 percent of the reality. At the end of October, European EudraVigilance showed 29 000 dead, but with estimated dark numbers it could be 290 000.

“It is terrible that one does not do clinical research, one only obtains information from the hospitals. It is unique in pandemic history that the data is not available. In the United States, 17 000 deaths from vaccinations are reported, including children and babies. It is not ethical to continue. So far in the United States, the death toll is three times higher than the total of all vaccines in the last 35 years. These are official figures, without clinical research or validation. The research is not finished, but the vaccination continues. It’s awful, really criminal.”

Stuckelberger confirmed that eight doses were being rolled out. “But there was no pandemic. It was a pandemic of PCR, propaganda, fear propaganda… There is massive corruption and conflicts of interest. Science and the media are also corrupt, the whole system is corrupt. Professionals are bought with ownership interests in vaccine companies. They’ve been thinking about it for the last 20 years. The industry controls the media, the doctors… The lies come from universities that say ‘we know science’. It’s unique. The universities of Switzerland sell Pfizer and Moderna.

“People have been tricked. They have not seen that it was propaganda. And that policies and definitions have changed.”

Canadians have got to be disabused of their blind trust in these flawed injections. Simply naming a drug a “vaccine” does not make it safer than the disease it is supposed to prevent.

The firefighters need to stand their ground and appeal.

Around the world the narrative is collapsing. Yesterday, the US supreme courts struck down the Biden mandates as unconstitutional. This may set precedent even in Canada. Recently in the UK, Health Minister Sajid Javid is scrapping vaccine passports.

Eventually, Kanada will need to wake up. The major problem here is the cultural isolation. I previously thought that the internet would have weakened the mainstream media but apparently not in Kanada. The Liberal government funded media (CBC, CTV, postmedia) has a stranglehold on the news most people receive. This is very dangerous.

Still the news in other countries is reason for hope. Many of us are standing our ground and this news gives us a reason to keep up the good fight. Eventually the whole house of cards built on lies will collapse here as it is currently in collapse in other countries.

the headline is wrong. They havent LOST their case. They have lost their application FOR AN IMMEDIATE INJUNCTION. The text of this article says that there will be a full hearing in late march.

If journalists cant figure out what has happened legally, they should ask a lawyer.

I fail to understand how these firefighters/emergency responders not only were able to show up for work every day for more than a year without vaccines and without rapid tests but also were EXPECTED to show up–often being put at the highest risk because they were routinely exposed to very sick people–but are now prevented from working if they make a personal choice not to be vaccinated! These very same people may have saved the life of someone’s loved one while risking not only their own life but also their own family. Why isn’t the entire community standing up in support of these selfless people? Shame on everyone who is not.

Ottawa press gallery discusses letting Chinese propaganda agency in

Xinhua has been accused of misusing press privileges at the direction of Chinese diplomats.

Officials with the Parliamentary Press Gallery held a behind closed doors meeting on Tuesday to talk about letting reporters from Xinhau, the Chinese Community Party’s propaganda agency, into the club, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

“The gallery is not bound by any outside political considerations,” said gallery president Catherine Levesque of the National Post.

“We are doing our due diligence to ensure Xinhua meets certain criteria and we will be making a decision shortly.”

Xinhua has been accused of misusing press privileges at the direction of Chinese diplomats.

“Membership in the Parliamentary Press Gallery allows access to the secure physical buildings of the parliamentary precinct and the opportunity to directly question individuals who drive and shape public policy,” gallery directors wrote in a 2020 code Journalistic Principles And Practices.

“As a result, accreditation is a privilege, not a right.”

Xinhua had been a member until 2020 when its press pass lapsed.

The Department of National Defence in 2012 blacklisted the agency from attending its press briefings, and a Xinhua correspondent in 2012 disclosed he was asked to maintain surveillance on Chinese dissidents in Canada.

The gallery would not discuss the Xinhua application but the gallery code states members must “respect the rights of people involved in the news.”

The Commons by a unanimous 266-0 vote last February 22 condemned China for human rights atrocities including the genocide of its Uyghur Muslim community. MPs also voted to petition the International Olympic Committee to relocate the 2022 Winter Games from Beijing.

“We need to move forward, not just as a country but as a world, on recognizing the human rights violations that are going on in China,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier told reporters.

“This is an issue that matters deeply to me, to all Canadians, and we will continue to work with our partners and allies on taking it seriously.”

Xinhua was originally granted Press Gallery membership in 1964 at the request of then-Foreign Minister Paul Martin Sr.

“It is a step in the direction of mutual understanding between Canada and mainland China,” Martin said at the time. Membership was approved in a press credentials swap that saw the Communist Party permit the Globe & Mail to open a Beijing bureau.

PHA head says cellphone snooping fears unwarranted

Dr. Harpreet Kochhar said managers at no time collected information that personally identified any of 33 million cellphone users.

The president of the Public Health Agency (PHA) says Canadians need not fret over the fact his organization snooped on 33 million cellphone users, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

Dr. Harpreet Kochhar said managers at no time collected information that personally identified any of 33 million cellphone users.

“No personal information was asked or was received,” Kochhar told the Commons health committee.

“No individually identifiable data is contained in any part of the work.”

The Commons ethics committee last Friday voted 10-0 to examine the data collection program using cellphone tower tracking. The PHA said it sought the information to monitor compliance with lockdown orders.

“The actual reason why we collected this data is reliable, timely and relevant public health data comes out of it for other policy and decision making,” said Kochhar.

“This is population-level mobility data analysis. This is what we have collected.

“That would help us to understand the possible link between the movement of populations within Canada and the impact on COVID-19. We did that in terms of a very clear way of getting that open and transparent means of collection. We never, ever actually know when we use that information that it is individually identifiable. It is aggregated data.”

MPs on the ethics committee earlier noted cellphone users were never told the PHA was collecting the cellphone tracking data. Conservative MP John Brassard (Barrie-Innisfil, Ont.), noted the scope of the monitoring was only detailed when the Agency issued a December 17 notice to contractors to expand the program.

“It becomes increasingly concerning that government is seemingly using this pandemic as a means and a cause for massive overreach into the privacy rights of Canadians,” said Brassard.

“As parliamentarians, it’s incumbent upon us to make sure we protect those rights, that there is proper scrutiny and oversight.”

“The Public Health Agency was collecting data without the knowledge of Canadians, effectively doing it in secret. We need to know what security measures were in place to protect the privacy rights of Canadians.

“It is vital we do not allow the COVID response to create a permanent backslide of the rights and freedoms of Canadians including their fundamental right to privacy.”

Health Minister Duclos has no info on $150-million COVID contract to SNC-Lavalin

But testifying at the Commons health committee, Duclos had no answer when asked why the contract was issued.

SNC-Lavalin was given a $150-million sole-source contract to provide “urgently” needed field hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic — but Canada’s Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos doesn’t seem to know much about it, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

The field hospitals were never used.

“This is obviously in support of the needs at the request of provinces and territories,” said Duclos.

But testifying at the Commons health committee, Duclos had no answer when asked why the contract was issued.

“What is the status of the mobile field hospitals SNC-Lavalin was contracted to produce?” asked Conservative MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman (Hastings-Lennox, Ont.).

“It was an example of the significant level of preparation that we did throughout the crisis,” replied Duclos.

“Why have the field hospitals from SNC-Lavalin not been deployed?” asked Kramp-Neuman.

Duclos replied he had no information on “the exact nature of the state of that equipment.”

“Did the Prime Minister’s Office approve of this?” asked MP Kramp-Neuman.

“That’s a public works question,” replied Duclos.

“We’re not getting a lot of clarity here,” said MP Kramp-Neuman, adding: “The buck stops with you. Sadly, I recognize you don’t have all the answers to everything, but it doesn’t seem like we’re getting a lot of answers to anything.”

An unidentified Department of Public Works manager finalized the SNC-Lavalin contract on April 9, 2020 without notice to other bidders.

“A public call for tenders was not issued due to the urgency of the need as a result of the pandemic,” said an internal e-mail.

However, as late as Sep. 9, 2020, the Québec contractor had still not fixed a delivery date, according to staff emails.

Paul Thompson, deputy minister of public works, Tuesday said he knew little of the contract details.

“I personally don’t have all the details at my fingertips,” said Thompson.

SNC-Lavalin was paid to supply field hospitals equipped with 200 hospital beds, ventilators, masks, medical gowns and ten days’ worth of medication, back-up generators, water and oxygen tanks, X-ray machines, shower bays and latrines.

“The self-sufficiency of the unit makes it extremely flexible for deployment where the need is greatest in Canada,” said a memo.

Internal records dated Oct. 13, 2020 disclosed no one wanted the field hospitals.

The department said spending included $2 million for design work and millions more on warehousing medical supplies for presumed future use.
