UPDATED: Omicron found in Alberta, BC

But Hinshaw refused to say where the traveller lives over fear it would identify them.

The tentacles of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 have reached Alberta and BC.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw said an Albertan returning home from Nigeria, via the Netherlands, has tested positive for Omicron.

Hinshaw said they tested positive a week ago and the person, who traveled alone, is now self-quarantining.

She said medical officials are trying to “delay” the spread of the variant until more research is done.

But Hinshaw refused to say where the traveller lives over fear it would identify them.

Hinshaw also urged people not to take out their frustrations against the family of the infected person nor the countries that are under an Omicron watch.

And she said people shouldn’t “think of this as a reset to Ground Zero.”

In her daily update, Hinshaw said in the last 24 hours, health officials have found 238 new cases of coronavirus. There are 434 people in the hospital with 81 in ICU. Another six people are reported to have succumbed to the virus.

In BC, Dr. Bonnie Henry said another traveller coming home from Nigeria had tested positive for Omicron.

That person lives in the Fraser Health region and is isolating.

On Monday, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced 156 Albertans self-quarantining after returning from travel in a country that had been hit with Omicron.

Six confirmed cases of the variant of concern have now been confirmed in Canada so far.

Earlier in the day, Canada added Nigeria, Malawi and Egypt to its Omicron travel ban.

On Friday, the government put restrictions on travellers from South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Lesotho and Eswatini.

“Obviously we’re watching very, very closely the situation with Omicron,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on his way into the cabinet meeting.

“There may be more we need to do and we’ll be looking at it very carefully.”

More to come…

Over 42,000 Adverse Reaction Reports Revealed In First Batch Of Pfizer Vax Docs

The FDA’s excruciatingly slow release of data related to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine has already borne fruit, and it’s damning despite a trickle of just 500 pages per month out of 329,000 pages – which will take until 2076 to complete.

As first reported by Kyle Becker, there were a total of 42,086 case reports for adverse reactions (25,379 medically confirmed, 16,707 non-medically confirmed), spanning 158,893 total events.

More than 25,000 of the events were classified as “Nervous system disorders.”

The more Hinshaw and AHS talk, the more awake the public becomes.

Yes..Covid is real and Dangerous to some people. But our trusted medical establishment made it out to be the plague And its not. And they are hiding cures. And all our MSM and Medical groups have followed along Why!!

If two years ago a person said we would be where we are now, they would be laughed at.

We are in a fight for real information. Once the real information can be allowed out, this event will be over.

Then the public will want all the corrupt media, corrupt AHS, corrupt Dr groups and politicians held accountable. Class Action Lawsuits will sink most media outlets.

    reply to jack masterman:

I think what the Dr. is saying here is accurate, but will be hard for those reading here to follow (partly due to the interviewer who doesnt know how to simplify what is being said). Let me have a stab at simplifying.

The main point to be made here is this: There is clearly something going on with these persons who have contracted SOMETHING. What they are calling “Covid” seems to have some similar symptoms. The point to be made (which was made by a guest on Alex Jones show some time ago (and I forget his name–he owns a medical lab) is that the spike protein is what causes the damage to lung tissue and that spike protein can exist WITHOUT THERE BEING AN UNDERLYING VIRUS. The spike protein causes an auto-immune reaction in our bodies (somewhat akin to an anaphalactic episode) which is an inflammation that then causes damage to the lungs. Alex Jones guest speculated that the spike protein could have been “seeded” across New York city by a bunch of drones. This would be why the “cocktail” that Trump, Guiliani, etc. took had a steroid in it. To bring down the inflammation caused by the allergic reaction to whatever the “pathogen” might be.

What this doctor (and the Alex Jones guest) is saying is that the “virus” has never been isolated. Therefore it may, OR MAY NOT, exist. It is a computer construct, where the computer has been told to take X, Y, Z,….etc. data and “construct” the underlying virus. The problem for a lab is simple. If you dont have a “certified” sample of the virus, you cant calibrate your machine to test for that (possibly non-existent) virus. At best, labs are testing in some “proxy “sense. If we find A, then we infer that there is also B.

Dr David Martin has a few videos out there and I would recommend people watch them. There is no question that there is some sort of ailment out there that we are labelling Covid-19. What, exactly, it is, we arent sure—what we are sure of is that THERE IS A CURE, IF GIVEN QUICKLY ENOUGH. What I think the best doctors are doing, is taking a shotgun approach. If it is a bacteria, put an antibiotic into the cocktail. If it might be a virus, put in an anti-viral dose. If it might be auto-immune reactions, put in a steroid…….and etc. The “cocktail” seems to work, and damn quickly, if given at the outset of symptoms (and not 14 days of isolation later). Which part(s) of the cocktail are doing the job, we may not be sure.

Fauci and his cohort of criminals should be sent to prison.

Until the Doctors in Canada get some Backbone & take their Profession back from the Health Care Bureaucrats & Politicians . . . it looks like this is going to be the narrative.

The citizens need to wise up . . . stop playing their stupid games . . .

Variants or Mutations are always WEAKER and less of a problem until they morph down to the Common Cold. Corona Viruses have been doing that for eons . . .

Recently an article was released that showed that in spite of the relatively low vaccination rate in Africa, there were very few cases of covid. Contrast that to a highly vaccinated country like Gibraltar or Israel who are both seeing huge surges in their covid cases. Could it be that the new “variant” is to distract people from the obvious fact that the shots aren’t working?

C’mon Deena. Omicron is so last week. How about a new local varient. Yeah, with a cool and scary name like the “The Alberta Clipper”.

The Clipper from the oily wasteland. You can even say it’s a bag of wind that hides under beds to waiting to kill the sleeping.

Since only the vaccinated can travel, how did this variant get to all of these countries? How are they going to blame the unvaccinated for this? They are quite silent on the vaccination statues of the person who tested positive here in Canada. That’s interesting…..Almost like their vaccine is not working and their passports are useless.

One would guess like they do, if they had isolated the virus and identified it then we could have a variant if we had a lab that could identify it.

The sad part is the new narrative regarding “vaccinating” children.

They changed the definition of “vaccine” when these new experimental “shots” were trotted out. I feel sorry for the poor trusting souls that think the ‘experts” know best and will line up their kids for this “shot”. Which actually requires TWO “shots” and then requires a “booster” (initially said to be required after 5 months, but now the first 2 shots are admitted to losing any potency they had after THREE MONTHS. And you can still get covid even within the first 3 months after being “fully inmmunized” with the 2 shots. (And they call this a “vaccine” which will confer “fully immunized” status—What brazen bullshit!!) Meanwhile dr. McCullogh (as credentialled as any doctor I could imagine) says that the giving of these shots should have been completely stopped months ago, due to their side effects (such as heart attacks, and heart problems caused by the shots).

The fatality rate for covid is about as close to zero as you can get,—- PARTICULARLY if you provide good, early treatment!!!. There wouldnt be an ICU problem, if every case was treated like Trumps, or Bondino’s, or Joe Rogans, or Rudy Guilani’s (and I am sure there are hundreds more we dont know about.)But then you wouldnt be able to attempt to justify locking down businesses, and taking civil liberties away from Canadians.

Deena Hinshaw is a lying communist the same as Rachel Notley. Hey Deena the lock downs and economical destruction you created, didn’t work the first 4 times, 5th time lucky do you suppose? Why Kenney is still listening to Dozy Deena is beyond me. How many communist does it take to destroy Alberta? Just 3 Notley, Hinshaw and Kenney the 3 “La Ninna’s”.

I couldn’t care any less about variant this or that. The greatest crime committed by all of Canada’s provincial CMOs is the intentional prohibition of any early treatment protocols for any of the SARS Cov-2 variants! All of the Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons are all culpable as well.
Ivermectin, HCQ and the supplements that comprise the home med kits that were used in other parts of the world with enviable results should all be widely available in Canada. The arrogance of the medical “authorities” is reprehensible, and I can only hope that they will pay with jail time one day.

New variant was just discovered under a week ago. Yet, Alberta and other most other areas of the world have been able to quickly expand the scope of their testing of the general population to determine if new “cases” are from the new variant. Very mOrONiC.

There are 359 active cases of COVID-19 in Gibraltar today, 57 new cases today (72 yesterday), 5 hospitalisations (1 of which is in the CCU), and a total of 440 persons in isolation.

This from the MOST vaccinated country in the world at 118%.

So, a (almost certainly) vaxxed person brought the Xi/Omicron variant into Alberta and didn’t know they were sick, since they were asymptomatic. Perhaps Hinshaw should also tell people not to take their anger out on the unvaccinated either. The new variant was found in four fully vaccinated people and is causing mild illness in both vaccinated and unvaccinated people. (It may very well have just mutated to a less virulent but more contagious form as viruses usually do.) I’m really really hoping more people that listen to the MSM can see the fear mongering for what it is…

Ottawa press gallery discusses letting Chinese propaganda agency in

Xinhua has been accused of misusing press privileges at the direction of Chinese diplomats.

Officials with the Parliamentary Press Gallery held a behind closed doors meeting on Tuesday to talk about letting reporters from Xinhau, the Chinese Community Party’s propaganda agency, into the club, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

“The gallery is not bound by any outside political considerations,” said gallery president Catherine Levesque of the National Post.

“We are doing our due diligence to ensure Xinhua meets certain criteria and we will be making a decision shortly.”

Xinhua has been accused of misusing press privileges at the direction of Chinese diplomats.

“Membership in the Parliamentary Press Gallery allows access to the secure physical buildings of the parliamentary precinct and the opportunity to directly question individuals who drive and shape public policy,” gallery directors wrote in a 2020 code Journalistic Principles And Practices.

“As a result, accreditation is a privilege, not a right.”

Xinhua had been a member until 2020 when its press pass lapsed.

The Department of National Defence in 2012 blacklisted the agency from attending its press briefings, and a Xinhua correspondent in 2012 disclosed he was asked to maintain surveillance on Chinese dissidents in Canada.

The gallery would not discuss the Xinhua application but the gallery code states members must “respect the rights of people involved in the news.”

The Commons by a unanimous 266-0 vote last February 22 condemned China for human rights atrocities including the genocide of its Uyghur Muslim community. MPs also voted to petition the International Olympic Committee to relocate the 2022 Winter Games from Beijing.

“We need to move forward, not just as a country but as a world, on recognizing the human rights violations that are going on in China,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier told reporters.

“This is an issue that matters deeply to me, to all Canadians, and we will continue to work with our partners and allies on taking it seriously.”

Xinhua was originally granted Press Gallery membership in 1964 at the request of then-Foreign Minister Paul Martin Sr.

“It is a step in the direction of mutual understanding between Canada and mainland China,” Martin said at the time. Membership was approved in a press credentials swap that saw the Communist Party permit the Globe & Mail to open a Beijing bureau.

PHA head says cellphone snooping fears unwarranted

Dr. Harpreet Kochhar said managers at no time collected information that personally identified any of 33 million cellphone users.

Published

on

The president of the Public Health Agency (PHA) says Canadians need not fret over the fact his organization snooped on 33 million cellphone users, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

Dr. Harpreet Kochhar said managers at no time collected information that personally identified any of 33 million cellphone users.

“No personal information was asked or was received,” Kochhar told the Commons health committee.

“No individually identifiable data is contained in any part of the work.”

The Commons ethics committee last Friday voted 10-0 to examine the data collection program using cellphone tower tracking. The PHA said it sought the information to monitor compliance with lockdown orders.

“The actual reason why we collected this data is reliable, timely and relevant public health data comes out of it for other policy and decision making,” said Kochhar.

“This is population-level mobility data analysis. This is what we have collected.

“That would help us to understand the possible link between the movement of populations within Canada and the impact on COVID-19. We did that in terms of a very clear way of getting that open and transparent means of collection. We never, ever actually know when we use that information that it is individually identifiable. It is aggregated data.”

MPs on the ethics committee earlier noted cellphone users were never told the PHA was collecting the cellphone tracking data. Conservative MP John Brassard (Barrie-Innisfil, Ont.), noted the scope of the monitoring was only detailed when the Agency issued a December 17 notice to contractors to expand the program.

“It becomes increasingly concerning that government is seemingly using this pandemic as a means and a cause for massive overreach into the privacy rights of Canadians,” said Brassard.

“As parliamentarians, it’s incumbent upon us to make sure we protect those rights, that there is proper scrutiny and oversight.”

“The Public Health Agency was collecting data without the knowledge of Canadians, effectively doing it in secret. We need to know what security measures were in place to protect the privacy rights of Canadians.

“It is vital we do not allow the COVID response to create a permanent backslide of the rights and freedoms of Canadians including their fundamental right to privacy.”

Health Minister Duclos has no info on $150-million COVID contract to SNC-Lavalin

But testifying at the Commons health committee, Duclos had no answer when asked why the contract was issued.

mm

Published

on

SNC-Lavalin was given a $150-million sole-source contract to provide “urgently” needed field hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic — but Canada’s Health Minister Jean-Yves Duclos doesn’t seem to know much about it, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

The field hospitals were never used.

“This is obviously in support of the needs at the request of provinces and territories,” said Duclos.

But testifying at the Commons health committee, Duclos had no answer when asked why the contract was issued.

“What is the status of the mobile field hospitals SNC-Lavalin was contracted to produce?” asked Conservative MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman (Hastings-Lennox, Ont.).

“It was an example of the significant level of preparation that we did throughout the crisis,” replied Duclos.

“Why have the field hospitals from SNC-Lavalin not been deployed?” asked Kramp-Neuman.

Duclos replied he had no information on “the exact nature of the state of that equipment.”

“Did the Prime Minister’s Office approve of this?” asked MP Kramp-Neuman.

“That’s a public works question,” replied Duclos.

“We’re not getting a lot of clarity here,” said MP Kramp-Neuman, adding: “The buck stops with you. Sadly, I recognize you don’t have all the answers to everything, but it doesn’t seem like we’re getting a lot of answers to anything.”

An unidentified Department of Public Works manager finalized the SNC-Lavalin contract on April 9, 2020 without notice to other bidders.

“A public call for tenders was not issued due to the urgency of the need as a result of the pandemic,” said an internal e-mail.

However, as late as Sep. 9, 2020, the Québec contractor had still not fixed a delivery date, according to staff emails.

Paul Thompson, deputy minister of public works, Tuesday said he knew little of the contract details.

“I personally don’t have all the details at my fingertips,” said Thompson.

SNC-Lavalin was paid to supply field hospitals equipped with 200 hospital beds, ventilators, masks, medical gowns and ten days’ worth of medication, back-up generators, water and oxygen tanks, X-ray machines, shower bays and latrines.

“The self-sufficiency of the unit makes it extremely flexible for deployment where the need is greatest in Canada,” said a memo.

Internal records dated Oct. 13, 2020 disclosed no one wanted the field hospitals.

The department said spending included $2 million for design work and millions more on warehousing medical supplies for presumed future use.
