People not getting COVID jabs a diverse group

Deonandan predicted Canada will not achieve “herd immunity” against COVID-19 until at least 91% of eligible citizens are fully vaccinated. The rate is currently 81%, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Canadians against getting a COVID-19 jab are not just a group of crazed, anti-vaxxers, says a leading epidemiologist.

Four million Canadians who’ve declined a COVID-19 are an assorted lot, said the executive editor of the Interdisciplinary Journal Of Health Sciences .

“The unvaccinated are a diverse group,” Dr. Raywat Deonandan, of the University of Ottawa, told Blacklock’s Reporter.

“They include the hardcore anti-vaxxers. They include the vaccine-hesitant who are just afraid of the vaccine.”

“They include those who want to get vaccinated, but can’t get time off work or get child care. And they include the apathetic. The apathetic tend to be the young people who think the disease is not serious to them. Vaccine passports really do well on that group.”

Speaking during a webinar with a federal union, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers, Deonandan said he generally supported domestic vaccine passports, likening them to a driver’s licence, but strongly opposed mandatory immunization of young children.

“Vaccine mandates are controversial,” said Deonandan, adding compulsory shots for children under 12 “just creates far too much distrust in the population and doesn’t rub people the right way.

“I have a small child. I’m not happy about injecting him with strange things. I will if his mother agrees. But it does not fill me with comfort to do so. I get it.”

Deonandan said he thought compulsory vaccination for federal employees was legally defensible, but acknowledged it would draw protest.

“The weakness is our democracy,” he said.

“Our biggest value is our freedom and our democracy. That is the thing that’s our Achilles’ heel here. Authoritarian governments do better with COVID because they control the messaging and compel behaviour. We don’t want to be that. So we need to empower the citizens to think more rationally to their own ends.”

Deonandan predicted Canada will not achieve “herd immunity” against COVID-19 until at least 91% of eligible citizens are fully vaccinated. The rate is currently 81%, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Humbug. Herd immunity will never be reached with this no matter the level of injections. Look at Israel arohnd 90% jabbed and cases higher than ever. Only through natural immunity will herd immunity be reached.

Interesting that Dr. Raywat Deonandan does not mention the fact that studies have shown that the people refusing the shots are HIGHLY EDUCATED! Individuals who don’t fall for what “experts say”, but rather do their own research!
Dr. Robert Malone (the inventor of MRNA vaccine technology) has said “we can’t vaccinate our way out of a pandemic.” These shots were designed to help the most at risk survive exposure to covid-19. They were not designed to stop the spread, nor prevent the vaccinated from getting the virus. The OVER vaccination of the population has created the more deadly variants, and now the vaccines (which were designed to treat the alpha outbreak) are not even effective against the newer variants! But let’s keep repeating the same failed response and expect a different outcome. The media will willingly run stories blaming the unvaxxed for the next wave.

“Our biggest value is our freedom and our democracy. That is the thing that’s our Achilles’ heel here.”

This comment here shows the rot and stupidity in our educational institutions. Show me the evidence that China has this situation under control? Why did 10 million cell signals go offline during the start of the “pandemic” and no one from “our betters” has thought to ask the question “what happened to the 10 million people”? Or perhaps “what happened to the Chinese people that were dragged off and put in those steel boxes in the back of the pick up trucks”? Or maybe ” should we investigate reports that those same people were thrown into incinerators alive”?

So in closing please remember that Dr. Raywat Deonandan thinks the governement should have the right to throw you alive still kicking into incinerator’s for a disease that has a 99.997% percent chance of survival. Dr. Raywat Deonandan thinks our society is “weak” because we won’t murder each other under false pretenses. In my humble opinion we should defund the Universities. If what they are producing is sociopaths like Dr. Raywat Deonandan then it is a matter of the survival of our society that we shut them down. Nothing good is coming out of them and they have murderous intentions against us.

This article was poorly written without any studies to confirm the statement. “Here immunity” at 91% is impossible with this virus. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2021/09/17/natural-immunity-vaccine-passports.aspx

You also missed that many aren’t getting vaxed because it is a losing race against time trying to get everyone vaxxed to prevent outbreaks… it will never happen. We are about to see a high uptake of vaxed citizens getting the virus.

Also, thank you for confirming that the Vax Passport has nothing to do with health but the pressuring of our younger generation to conform. BTW- our younger generation is actually conforming. It is you 30-50 that can’t believe a word about this entire Pandemic and after ridiculous articles like this how can we can trust anything stated in the “off the cuff” type of statements.

Herd immunity has nothing to do with vaccine %…or at least it didn’t prior to our push for NewSpeak and the change of definitions for words like “herd immunity” which now REQUIRES vaccines to be achieved.

It would be nice to add those important tidbits into the article.

Shepherdess- Are you willing to publish the letter you sent to Moe?

Scott Moe: no science background. Obviously a vaccine expert. Obviously a strong defender of human rights. Another fake conservative. Also a failed businessman. He could not make it in the private world so he switched to politics to tell others how to do things. What a sick joke. Scott Moe and Jason Kenney: hard at work destroying conservatism and freedom!

But what about it being spread by the vaccinated and the fact that you can still get it even if you’re “vaccinated.” To me that means herd immunity through vaccinated is impossible.

Too bad Canada follows the WHO tyrants and ignores Real Science . . .

Harvard Medical School professor Martin Kulldorff argues that new research confirming that natural immunity offers exponentially more protection than vaccines means vaccine passports are both unscientific and discriminatory.

The latest is an Israeli study finding vaccinated individuals were 27 times more likely to get a symptomatic COVID infection than those with natural immunity.

Kuldorff concludes that’s a death blow to the vaccine passports required by New York City, France, the Canadian provinces of Quebec and British Columbia, and others, reported the Foundation for Economic Education.

“Prior COVID disease (many working class) provides better immunity than vaccines (many professionals), so vaccine mandates are not only scientific nonsense, they are also discriminatory and unethical,” Kulldorff, a biostatistician and epidemiologist, wrote on Twitter.

In April, Kulldorf joined with Stanford professor of medicine Jay Bhattacharya in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, arguing vaccine passports would harm rather than benefit public health.

“The idea that everybody needs to be vaccinated is as scientifically baseless as the idea that nobody does,” they wrote. “Covid vaccines are essential for older, high-risk people and their caretakers and advisable for many others. But those who’ve been infected are already immune.”

The most vaccine-hesitant group of all? PhDs –
A new study found that the most educated are the least likely to get jabbed

But more surprising is the breakdown in vaccine hesitancy by level of education. It finds that the association between hesitancy and education level follows a U-shaped curve with the highest hesitancy among those least and most educated. People with a master’s degree had the least hesitancy, and the highest hesitancy was among those holding a Ph.D.

What’s more, the paper found that in the first five months of 2021, the largest decrease in hesitancy was among the least educated — those with a high school education or less. Meanwhile, hesitancy held constant in the most educated group; by May, those with Ph.Ds were the most hesitant group.

So not only are the most educated people most sceptical of taking the Covid vaccine, they are also the least likely the change their minds about it…

The CDC Director herself, Rochelle Walensky, had to quietly walk back that the vaccine isn’t a cure all after excitedly proclaiming that vaccinated people don’t transmit COVID 19. Provincetown, MA had a large outbreak percentage wise. Most of the 469 cases of COVID, or 74%, were all fully vaccinated.

    Dr. Leana Wen Warns Americans

That Vaccinated People Carry More Virus and are Superspreaders

    September 26, 2021
Science has already reflected the evidence of this point being accurate; however, the media have been reluctant to admit it – and in most cases media and politicians are denying it.

In a rare moment of clarity, Dr. Leana Wen admits vaccinated people are now more susceptible to the Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, and carry a higher load of the virus than the non-vaccinated population. As a result of their vulnerability to carry and spread the virus, the vaccinated population is now the risk to the unvaccinated population.

I absolutely agree with the previous comments regarding the immediate dangers of the shots. I would add that the possible long-term effects of these experimental drugs are just as important:
-What effect will they have on cancer rates?
    -What about other degenerative diseases?
-What are the effects on fertility?
How can these drugs possibly be considered safe for healthy young people and children without answers to these questions?

Ditto Left Coast and Shepherdess, I cottoned on withing two weeks that this process and reaction was ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with a disease. Now the Feds ADMIT 193 people died after the shot. When the death rate from the Swine Flu reached 50 they pulled the whole darn thing. Why is anyone taking this shot?

Premier Moe (Saskatchewan) chastised the unvaxxed as making a “reckless decision”. I wrote him a strong letter. As a retired RN who worked in Public Health for 30 years and managed a school immunization program in a large city, my decision was well thought out, researched, and evidence based. And I am very aware of how stats can be manipulated to the government’s end of fear mongering. Ditto Left Coast’s comments re Sweden and Israel.

    What a pant load….
Immunity is arrived only after being infected or having a ‘real’ vaccine that creates the immune response to the target entity.
The current vaccine does not create immunity whatsoever- it is simply a 4.5 to 6 month patch to stop one from being extremely ill or dying- that’s now why booster shots are being considered. There will be a never ending vaccine program until you have been infected and only then can you be considered immune. Since we won’t test for immunity(ie: for those who have had covid) we will never learn who is actually immune until someone actually sees the rate of real(not cases) infection drop. Based on our lack of testing for immunity the vaccines will become a way of life for most- even those immune who’ve had covid.
Stated above that 91% vaccinations creates herd immunity? Such nonsense. Maybe 91% infected(and then immune) will create it, since there will be few to pass it to.
To conflate this mRNA vaccine with a real vaccine with immune responses is absolute bunk.
I am a retired exec from a large multinational with a degree in engineering and statistics and am fed up with this nonsense that this vaccine is somehow a way to herd immunity- only in that it delays severe reactions for some months and may allow infection to occur without severe reaction and thus creating a more immune population.
If I felt I was vulnerable I would take the mRNA as a delay tactic, however when a real vaccine is available I will stand in line to get it.
As of now I am unvaccinated and will not comply. My freedoms are being held hostage and the goalposts keep moving as to when we can get back to normal which I believe will be never. Until I get my freedoms back, I will not comply.
I am disgusted that I can’t even leave this authoritarian state without getting the jab- such authoritarian garbage- not my Canada!!

Funny how Sweden achieved Herd Immunity with less than 1/2 the population VAXED.

Meanwhile in countries with 90% VAXED hospitals are filling up with Covid Patients.

The reaction from the Drug Companies is a BOOSTER . . . so more Billions to big pharma!

Here’s a reason not to get Vaxed . . . Vaccine LIES are affecting even pro sports . . .

Brandon Goodwin, an NBA player with the Atlanta Hawks, admitted recently that he got blood clots from the COVID vaccine that ended his season and possibly his career.

Goodwin said the NBA told him to keep it quiet.

Brandon Goodwin told “I got sick, and I never quite recovered from it. I would always have back pain. I was just super tired in the games. I was so tired. I felt like I couldn’t run up and down the court. My back was hurting. My back really started hurting bad. Then, I’m like, ‘OK. I need to go to the doctor. That’s when I found out I had blood clots. That all within the span of a month.”

These vaccines are dangerous to your well-being . . . there have been more bad reactions in just 8 months than ALL other Vaccines in the last 30 years added together!

Sask Polytech ditches vax policy but burdens unvaxxed with testing costs

The Justice Centre is unsatisfied with the response of Sask Polytech and reiterated its intention to pursue legal action against the institution and against the University of Saskatchewan over its requirement for staff and students to be vaccinated for COVID-19.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms is unsatisfied with the decision of Saskatchewan Polytech to reverse its vaccination requirement for staff and students because the institute does not recognize natural immunity and imposes testing costs on the unvaccinated.

On November 19, the Justice Centre sent Sask Polytech and the University of Saskatchewan letters demanding they reverse their requirement that all staff and students be vaccinated by January 1, 2022.

On December 1, Sask Polytech reversed its “vaccinated only” policy but now requires unvaccinated staff and students to comply with testing three times a week at their own expense. In a press release, the Justice Centre called this “unacceptable.”

“Such testing requirements for students are even greater than the Saskatchewan government’s requirements for employees of its ministries. Sask Poly has also failed to recognize the compelling scientific evidence of natural immunity for those who have already recovered from Covid-19 and have proof of antibodies,” reads a JCCF press release on Saturday.

“Testing costs, which could exceed $200 per week, mean that only the wealthy and privileged can bear the burden,” stated Andre Memauri, the Justice Centre’s Saskatoon-based lawyer.

“Sask Poly, which has chosen to impose discriminatory testing requirements for staff and students, has the ability to acquire these tests at wholesale cost.”

The Justice Centre said it would commence legal proceedings against Sask Poly in the Court of Queen’s Bench unless Sask Poly immediately absorbs the testing costs and recognizes natural immunity.

On October 28, the U of S and Sask Polytech announced mandatory vaccinations for all students, staff and faculty, removing the alternative of twice weekly testing which had been in place since the start of the school year. The Justice Centre will also commence legal action against the U of S for refusing unvaccinated students.

On November 26, Global News reported a 19-year-old student was hospitalized briefly with breathing problems after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. The student’s mother, Michelle Marciniuk, publicly called for the university to reconsider its policy.

The U of S’ policy includes exemptions on medical and religious grounds in accordance with the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code. But according to the Justice Centre, the university usually rejects exemption requests or does not respond to them for several weeks. Besides this, the university has made itself the arbiter of faith considerations for religious exemptions. Medical exemptions have become a difficult document for patients to receive in Canada, due to regulatory pressure on physicians not to provide them based on their medical judgement except in very rare circumstances.

The U of S crowns itself for academic freedom, diversity, equality, human dignity and a healthy work and learning environment, yet it has harshly terminated faculty for speaking on the hallmark principle of informed consent for Covid-19 vaccination of children,” stated Andre Memauri, a U of S alum.

“Now, the U of S seeks to exclude and villainize those who decide for various reasons not to be vaccinated…Without question, our community has been through a great deal of difficulty and it requires these institutions to lead as vessels of science not ideology…The Justice Centre demands both schools follow the science and adopt policies that bring students together in the most safe and lawful manner.”

The letters sent to both schools from the Justice Centre on November 19 warned that the schools are seeking to deprive students from education on the basis of vaccination status, contrary to Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Sections 2(a), 7, and 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

CRA wants more tax filers to file online

The government’s own research shows millions of paper filers resist change.

The taxman is angry that too many Canadians are still filing by mail, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

The government’s own research shows millions of paper filers resist change.

“Those who submit their taxes by mail most often say they use paper rather than filing electronically because it is simply how they prefer to do it, e.g. they do it out of habit, because ‘it’s what they are comfortable with,’ they like it, etcetera,” said a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) report.

“Just 13% cite security issues.”

Data show of 30.5 million tax returns filed this year a total 2.7 million or 9% were filed on paper. Millions of taxpayers, a total 4,234,772 including Internet filers, demanded refunds be paid by mailed cheque instead of direct deposit.

The CRA complained it would be “more timely and efficient” if all taxpayers used the Internet. The Agency spends $6.9 million annually mailing T1 general tax forms alone.

“There is still a sizable proportion of taxpayers who are conducting their business with the Canada Revenue Agency through paper rather than taking advantage of digital services which are much more timely and efficient,” said the report.

Research showed typical paper filers were working age men under 55 who completed their own return without a tax preparer, had a university degree, earned more than $80,000 a year and were more likely than other Canadians to prefer in-person teller service rather than online banking.

“The most important factor influencing why respondents file by paper instead of online is disinterest,” wrote researchers, who added: “Apathy is a barrier. Fifty percent of likely switchers say they are simply not interested in switching. Therefore the agency will have to demonstrate the value of switching.”

Findings were based on questionnaires with 2,000 taxpayers who filed returns by mail. The Agency paid Earnscliffe Strategy Group $130,061 for the survey.

The research follows a failed 2012 campaign to have all Canadians use direct deposit for payment of tax refunds and benefit cheques. The attempt by the Receiver General of Canada, the federal office responsible for processing payments, was intended to save costs. Paper cheques cost 82¢ apiece to process compared to 13¢ for electronic transfers, by official estimate.

An estimated 13% of taxpayers refused to surrender bank account information to the Receiver General. “Cheque recipients have become harder to engage,” said a 2020 Department of Public Works survey.

“A few have a general distrust of the Government of Canada’s ability to protect data,” wrote researchers. A total 23 percent of Atlantic residents said they wouldn’t rely on the government to protect their privacy, followed by 22% in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, 21% in Ontario, 19% in Alberta, 18% in BC and 12% in Québec.

WATCH: Alberta Oil drives Guilbeault to meeting with Nixon

Federal Environment Minister Stephen Guilbeault’s tour of Alberta has already kicked off with a whiff of hypocrisy.

Attended by a sizable entourage, Guilbeault exited his black gasoline-powered SUV and hustled into the McDougall Centre in Calgary for a meeting with Alberta Environment Minister Jason Nixon.

Guilbeault has dedicated most of his career to telling Canadians they need to transition from petrochemically fueled transportation. During this meeting though, Guilbeault chose not to find an utilize an electric-powered SUV in order to demonstrate his environmental virtue. With the resources of the entire federal government behind him, one would have thought that Guilbeault could have arranged appropriate transportation for his cross-Canada tour.

It’s almost as if electric vehicles are still not ready for mainstream use yet.

At least Guilbeault contributed to the Western economy with his conspicuous consumption of local petrochemical products.
