Top doc call for lockdowns in Alberta and Saskatchewan

The Canadian Medical Association is calling for lockdowns in both Alberta and Saskatchewan as the fourth wave of COVID-19 threatens to overwhelm their health care systems.

“This is beyond anything that the health care system has ever faced in modern times,” Dr. Katharine Smart said in an interview Wednesday with the Canadian Press.

“What we’re seeing now is essentially no ability to provide any other acute-care medicine beyond care to people with COVID. So, in essence, the health-care system has already collapsed.”

In both provinces, the health care systems have been battling mainly the Delta variant of COVID-19.

Hospital admissions are skyrocketing and ICUs are being overwhelmed.

The CMA is calling for schools and all non-essential services to be shut down for a short time to try and stop the spread of coronavirus.

Smart told CP Alberta and Saskatchewan have COVID-19 mortality rates about three times the national average.

“There is a lot of resistance from both political parties to really step up with any significant changes in their public health mitigation strategies,” she said.

“We’ve seen lots of sort of tinkering around the edges, but no real commitment to doing something meaningful to change this trajectory.

“People cannot keep doing this indefinitely and the system is already totally overrun and collapsing.

“What is happening is as heartbreaking as it was preventable. We are now in a situation where it’s all hands on deck to address the state of crisis.”

When do you’all think Dr. “NotSo” Smart was going to tell you about this ?

A whistleblower from Moderna made a screenshot of an internal company notice labeled “Confidential – For internal distribution only”, showing there were 300,000 adverse events reported in only three months time.” This is a quote from this confidential notice:

‘This enabled the team to effectively manage approximately 300,000 adverse event reports and 30,000 medical information requests in a three month span to support the global launch of their COVID-19 vaccine.’

    https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/some-actual-news

Scientists who speak out against vaccines are even labeled ‘domestic terrorists’. All means are deployed by the criminal vaccine cartel to suppress the truth.

As a result countless medical professionals are afraid to report adverse events, which further contributes to the underreporting of these side effects. Additionally, the amount of scientific information warning for these dangerous biological agents, and the number of medical experts warning humanity, is so overwhelming and almost omnipresent – despite the aggressive attempts to silence them – that it is virtualy impossible for any medical professional to not be at least somewhat aware of the risk they are taking, by administering an untested DNA altering injection, without even informing their patients of what is being injected into their body.

If they then see their patients suffer or die, they are naturally afraid of being held accountable, so they refuse to report it.

Lastly: many medical professionals receive financial incentives to promote the vaccines. In the United Kingdom for example nurses get ₤10 per needle they put into a child. That again is a reason for them to not report adverse events.

AHS and Dr. Yiu have been caught these past few days lying about the beds and that this is the highest number of patients ever in ICU. (They’re not all covid BTW! ) AHS retroactively adjusted the bed numbers a day or 2 ago once they were called out on it. Now we are down to about 74% capacity. They reduced bed numbers at the start of summer to 168 and kept it close to that number all summer in order to create this “crisis”! Who is paying and/or controlling these so called top doctors?

How does she conclude that Alta/Sask have mortality rates three times national average, unless she cherry picks data over a selected time period? Quebec, a consistent proponent of harsh and stringent lockdowns, has 23% of Canada’s population and 42% of its Covid deaths. After 20 months of data/observation across multiple jurisdictions, it is apparent there is not even a weak correlation between lock down stringency and positive outcomes, much less any causal link. Why do we keep calling these people Top Doctors?

She is not a top doc, she is a politician. The headline is misleading Western Standard. She has an agenda, and it doesn’t seem to be protecting children despite her being a pediatrician. Politicians are usually about protecting themselves.

Left coast totally agree AHS is a complete embarrasment and many who work there, know what shams are going on. It’s just they need the job. But have no fear, like the US is going to start doing , is replace these thousands of Canadian health care workers fired over vaccine is to replace them with folks from the Phillipeses and if you think foreign workers won’t be welcome in Canada, your wrong. They already occupy the majority of jobs in LTC

The thing that has been contributing to the ‘collapse’ of the health care system is the dead weight of useless middle management bureaucrats. Our ‘free’ health care has been a joke for decades. Time to let it collapse and burn.

The Societal Impacts of COVID Propaganda Using the Promotion of Irrational Fear

Neil Oliver gives a well considered perspective of how millions of people within each nation’s population are prone to being psychologically manipulated by fear. As a consequence, there is a general outlook of anxiety amid those ordinary people who are not internally strong, psychologically independent, or carrying a strong stable mind.

Good discussion. Many good points made about how multinational corporations and Big Tech are merged ideologically with government to create one big mess of anxious and panicked people.

Well if 82% of the population stabbed with the fauci needle and we still have no alternative to a lock down I would suggest that the so called vaccines do not work, or perhaps it’s the AHS and medical staff that don’t work.

It was scientists and doctors who did the experiments on the POW and Jews in WW2

During the past year and a half, any claim that Canada has a strong healthcare system has been demolished.

Even in comparison to the US system that many Canadians love to disparage, our healthcare system is brutally underperforming.

For example, Alberta has a population of about 4.4 million people. The state of Alabama has a population of about 4.9 million.

Alberta’s healthcare system is ‘about to collapse’ with roughly 300 people in the ICU, with the government claiming they are out of ICU beds.

By contrast, Alabama has over 1,500 ICU beds.

Alabama is also one of the poorer states in the USA, yet even so they absolutely demolish Alberta in terms of ICU capacity.

And Alberta is no outlier in Canada. ICU capacity is shockingly low across our nation.

In Manitoba, the government said they were running out of ICU beds with fewer than 100 people in intensive care.

In short, the system that we spend a gargantuan amount of money on has shown itself to be weak, dysfunctional, and unable to handle a crisis.

Canadian HC System has been collapsed for decades . . .
just no one wanted to talk about it.

Is Dr. Smart aware what other jurisdictions have done?
Like Sweden, South Dakota, Florida and Texas?

The vaccine seems to be causing some of the current problems with COVID.
Recent data shows that in the states where the highest percentage of their residents received the shot and are fully vaccinated, there were the highest increases in COVID cases.>/b>
The shot isn’t preventing the spread of the illness, but it seems to possibly be doing the opposite.
One of the states that has had the best numbers with COVID recently is Texas. It is a more conservative state with a much lower percentage of vaccinated individuals.
There have also been many people coming over the border without the vaccine, and yet the number of those sick in Texas has not been greatly increasing, as it has in Maine, Vermont, and New York.
Vermont, leading the country with the highest vaccination rate of 71% (fully vaccinated) had a 34% increase rate in COVID cases last week.
Maine is another state that has the highest vaccination rate of 68% (fully vaccinated). It also saw a record-high 100% increase rate of COVID cases last week.
New York happens to be ranked 8th with a vaccination rate of 62% fully vaccinated. The rate of increase in new cases over the past week reached 43%.

Why Dr. Smart did neither YOU or any of your fellow physicians talk to their Patients about Therapeutics? Recommend they take Zinc, Vit D/C and provide access to Ivermectin, Remdisivire or HCQ to keep patients out of Hospitals?

Instead you are shilling for Big Drug Companies that are making BILLIONS selling the always suspect Vax and now of course an endless supply of Boosters . . .

Flights from Vancouver to Kamloops priced more than $1,200 over Christmas

BC flight prices have skyrocketed over the Christmas season following flood damage to highways.

mm

Published

on

Following substantial flooding in November, which led to savaged highways and infrastructure, many of those planning to visit family out of town for Christmas are forced to fly — and some will be paying exorbitant prices for it.

For example, a WestJet round trip — listed on Expedia — from Vancouver to Kamloops, BC on December 22, with a return flight on December 27 is listed at $1,264 as of Wednesday morning.

The normally 30-minute flight includes a nearly four-hour layover in Calgary.

On TripAdvisor, the same round trip is priced similarly.

Those planning a round trip from Vancouver to Kelowna, BC on the same dates will save a few hundred bucks in comparison to those headed for Kamloops. For example, one round trip with WestJet from Vancouver to Kelowna — December 22-27 — is listed at $741 on Wednesday, although it includes a six-hour layover in Edmonton.

Normal flight times between the locales are 55 minutes.

Prices on WestJet’s website are comparable. On Air Canada’s site, all are currently sold out for the aforementioned dates and locations.

However, those travelling between Vancouver and Kelowna can find cheaper trips on Swoop if they fly out of Abbotsford, BC. On Wednesday morning, a non-stop round trip from Abbotsford to Kelowna, departing on December 22 and returning on December 29, is priced under $300.

Top Ontario doc says separating vaxxed and unvaxxed best way to get COVID under control

Ontario has had more than 626,000 cases of COVID-19 which has left more than 10,000 people dead.

One of the ways to bring the COVID-19 pandemic under control is to stop “the mixing of unvaccinated and vaccinated,” says Ontario’s chief medical officer.

“Basic means of protecting individuals is stopping the mixing of unvaccinated and vaccinated,” said Dr. Kieran Moore at a Tuesday press conference.

“And if our cases continue through and after the holidays we would make recommendations of government to continue the certification process in play. But we’ll continue to review the data. We do have a very robust testing strategy in Ontario for the winter months as we’ve released previously. We’ve purchased … 11 million rapid antigen test for all students in Ontario.”

Moore was asked whether COVID-19 is “something we’re just going to have to learn to live with” and whether it would ever go away.

“We have a long ways to go with the World Health Organization and other international organizations to try to decrease the number of individuals in which this virus can mutate and/or spread,” he said.

“But I do see a time when we’ll have low, endemic rates and it will turn out to be like influenza or other winter respiratory viruses where there’s a seasonality to it, where it does have an intermittent impact on our health-care system and like influenza, you need an annual vaccine to protect against it.”

Trudeau’s beach denier demoted

Trudeau was photographed twice on a beach in Tofino after deciding to skip the first day of a holiday he created — the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

The Justin Trudeau spokesman who told reporters the prime minister “wasn’t on a beach” when he was, has been demoted, says Blacklock’s Reporter.

Trudeau was photographed twice on a beach in Tofino after deciding to skip the first day of a holiday he created — the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

Trudeau had promised to “set a higher bar for openness and transparency in government.”

Alex Wellstead will be “taking on new challenges” as press secretary to the industry minister, the Prime Minister’s Office said yesterday.

Wellstead. Courtesy Twitter

Wellstead in a statement called it “a very difficult decision to make.” He had worked as Trudeau’s official spokesman for 20 months.

Wellstead on September 30 issued misleading statements to conceal the fact Trudeau spent the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at a beach resort in Tofino, B.C.

“He wasn’t on a beach,” Wellstead told The Canadian Press at the time. Global News and the weekly Chilliwack Progress photographed Trudeau strolling on the beach and enjoying a glass of beer on a beachfront patio.

The Prime Minister’s Office claimed Trudeau was in private meetings in Ottawa. Staff flew an Indian Residential School “survivors’ flag” and issued a solemn statement in Trudeau’s name.

“We remember the children who never made it home,” it said.

Wellstead did not explain his conduct.

“You as a communicator need to understand everything,” Wellstead said in a March 30 interview with public relations students at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ont.

The prime minister in 2015 Ministerial Mandate letters said officials must be truthful and transparent.

“Members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery, indeed all journalists in Canada and abroad, are professionals who by asking necessary questions contribute in an important way to the democratic process,” wrote Trudeau.

“Your professionalism and engagement with them is essential.

“We have committed to set a higher bar for openness and transparency in government. It is time to shine more light on government to ensure it remains focused on the people it serves.

“Government and its information should be open by default. If we want Canadians to trust their government, we need a government that trusts Canadians.

“It is important that we acknowledge mistakes when we make them. Canadians do not expect us to be perfect. They expect us to be honest, open and sincere in our efforts to serve the public interest.”

Trudeau on October 6 apologized for the Tofino holiday.

“Traveling on September 30 was a mistake and I regret it,” the prime minister told reporters.

“What made you decide to take a personal trip on a day your government set aside to honour the victims and survivors of residential schools?” asked a reporter.

“Like I said, it was a mistake,” replied Trudeau.
