“engaging in violence is always wrong”

It’s not about what is wrong or right, but what is politically expedient. Antifa mobs and Jihadists use violence very effectively to achieve their goals. Throwing a couple of pebbles at Trudeau is foolish and amateurish.

Although I have as much sympathy for Trudeau and his news media getting it by gravel as I do for a drug dealer peddling to kids being the target of angry parents throwing gravel, engaging in violence is always wrong and works against the ethics and code of conservatives.

This is against our principles and practices. Yes, leftists use their antifa thugs to terrorize and commit serious violence against those who they disagree with and the media does report them in a positive light. It is a double-standard. However, we must not play their game.

These incidents are a gift to Trudeau whose handlers then capitalize on to try and win sympathy.

Let’s never stoop down to their low level.

No Media Bailouts

The fourth estate is critical to a functioning democracy in holding the government to account. An objective media can't maintain editorial integrity when it accepts money from a government we expect it to be critical of.

We the undersigned call on the Canadian government to immediately cease all payouts to media companies.
