Federal health Minister Patti Hadju is demanding to know what Alberta is playing at with their latest COVID-19 rules.

Hadju fired off a letter to Alberta Health Minister Tyler Shandro wanting to know the science behind the province’s moves to drop contract tracing. It also said close contacts of people who test positive for COVID-19 don’t have to isolate. And starting August 16, those infected will no longer need to quarantine

“The vaccination campaign in Canada, one of the best in the world, has significantly changed the overall context of COVID-19 here … However, it is still too early to declare victory,” writes Hajdu, agreeing the choices are Alberta’s to make.

“Many remain unvaccinated, creating the potential for outbreaks, and we need to increase first and second dose coverage in order to protect against a Delta-driven resurgence that could seriously impact our citizens and our health system capacity.”

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney and Shandro said all the COVID-19 decisions were made by Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw.

Maybe Alberta should DEMAND that Hadju provide Scientific DOCUMENTS like Patrick King did in court when Hinshaw was locking us down.
Hinshaw and her cronies ‘admitted’ that they had no Scientific Evidence that covid 19 sars 2 even existed

Maybe Hadju should answer that question.

Saskfreedom, you do realize it’s a handful of noisy dr from AB , the Edmonton Zone, doing the most screaming, Vipond is not a dr who’s an activist, he’s an NDP activist who just happens to be a dr. He’s also a crazy greenie, who’s dream is his daughter to be the Greta. This is union doing all this screaming, dr and nurses and teachers, they haven’t quit complaining since this started because Kenney doing exactly what he ran on and that was to make the bloated unions do their part too. The union pages are full of job action, general strikes, under the pretense there worried about patients, you mean the whole 107 in hospital, the whole 23 in ICU, no there worried about their fat paychecks, losing a few dollars. Do you know this weekend, where nurses get triple time, they staffed facilities , with double the RN, way to screw the taxpayers . What a sad organization AHS is they can’t handle 100 new people out of 8400 beds. They had more than a year to address these issues, what did they do nothing. It’s a bloated and broken system and rated 10th out of 11th in ranking, so they had issues long before Covid. SK had to close 62 hospitals because no funds to keep them going, so AB nurses, while your crying crocodile tears over poor you, when theirs no hospitals to work in, you will actually have a reason to whine. And teachers are no better, worry about how kids are falling behind with your teaching and not being activists

Nearly half of those hospitalized in Britain with the ‘Delta Variant’ were vaccinated.
A report out of Britain shows that 35% of all individuals hospitalized with the ‘Delta Variant’ had taken two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Another 10% had taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Barely over half of those hospitalized had not taken the vaccine.

He did not claim to END the Lockdown. He decalred that he did not win his ticket YET! He claimed he opened the door for others to demand the same evidence. It succeeded to have it placedin the record that they have no evidence and that the court knowingly committed procedural rights offenses against Mr. King.

Hadju is just copying what Biden’s people are doing to DeSamtis in Florida. Just like Trudeau copies Biden when he says they’ll likely mandate federal employees.
Apparently all one has to do to predict what Trudeau’s government will do next is see what Biden is doing.
Also of note is the talk of mail in ballots in Canada. It worked for the democrats so Trudeau has the green light.
Essentially the whole worlds direction depends on what is allowed to occur in the US. If US citizens don’t take this, expect a major false flag to change hearts and minds.

@ BERTA BABY, this is a good idea. Hinshaw can redeem herself by posting an open letter back to the graphic designer, stating studies that show their masks don’t work, their perpetual lockdowns and freedom burning do more harm than good, and that most of the people in the hospital are actually vaccinated. Include that never has “emergency act” been enacted for something less deadly than the flu, but like the flu vaccine, the covid vaccine doesn’t provide long term immunity, while natural immunity is much more robust. Never have so many rights and freedoms of Canadians been so eroded, for something with a lower death rate than the common flu.
The pcr tests were useless and likely over a 50% false positive rate.
The common cold and the common flu are endemic, we work around it and accept it as a minor inconvenience encountered maybe once a year. We stay home and stay hydrated. Sars-cov-2 is less dangerous than common flu, as far as deaths. There’s absolutely no need to lock down society. Those who think they might die from covid because of other conditions, have been offered a free vaccine. Unfortunately they haven’t been offered any other drug or natural treatments. Which in itself is a form of coercion. Deliberately obfuscating that non-vaccine treatments exist.

Before we all collectively tell the liberals to stick it in their ear , why don’t they prove the scientific facts that lockdowns or any of the restrictions work. These Covid zero communists need to be shown the door . The liberals go out of their way to destroy the echoed Alberta and tax is to death and have the Gaul to write a letter? Send the troops and if not flock off

It clear that Alberta is the right path, of controlling our health and the benefits. If Hadju is concerned, because she has been in the wrong on all fronts since she has been in the government! We will see in this fall how sick people get from a vaccine, which was not property tested. Of course it will be blamed on the unvaccinated! Wake People!

It is time the West go thier own way. This election, there is only one choice for the West. It is the Maverick Party.

WATCH: Alberta Oil drives Guilbeault to meeting with Nixon

Federal Environment Minister Stephen Guilbeault’s tour of Alberta has already kicked off with a whiff of hypocrisy.

Published

on

Attended by a sizable entourage, Guilbeault exited his black gasoline-powered SUV and hustled into the McDougall Centre in Calgary for a meeting with Alberta Environment Minister Jason Nixon.

Guilbeault has dedicated most of his career to telling Canadians they need to transition from petrochemically fueled transportation. During this meeting though, Guilbeault chose not to find an utilize an electric-powered SUV in order to demonstrate his environmental virtue. With the resources of the entire federal government behind him, one would have thought that Guilbeault could have arranged appropriate transportation for his cross-Canada tour.

It’s almost as if electric vehicles are still not ready for mainstream use yet.

At least Guilbeault contributed to the Western economy with his conspicuous consumption of local petrochemical products.

Officials urge booster injections to tackle lingering Delta variant amid Omicron craze

The WHO classified Omicron as a “variant of concern,” however, the South African doctor who discovered Omicron in her patient says she is “stunned” by the response.

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) is now strongly urging COVID-19 booster injections for those over the age of 50.

In addition, the committee is now recommending boosters of an authorized mRNA vaccine to those 18-49 years of age at least six months after completion of a “primary COVID-19 vaccine series with consideration of jurisdictional and individual risks.”

The announcement comes amid global discussion of the Omicron variant. The federal government requested on Tuesday that NACI swiftly review its booster guidance in response to Omicron.

The NACI’s new booster recommendation, however, focuses on the lingering Delta variant while more details are gathered on Omicron.

On Nov. 26, 2021, the World Health Organization (WHO) classified Omicron as a “variant of concern,” although the South African doctor who discovered Omicron in her patient says she is “stunned” by the response.

“As chair of the South African Medical Association and a GP of 33 years standing, I have seen a lot over my medical career,” writes Dr. Angelique Coetzee, in an op-ed for the Daily Mail.

“But nothing has prepared me for the extraordinary global reaction that met my announcement this week that I had seen a young man in my surgery who had a case of COVID that turned out to be the Omicron variant.”

The young man was unaware he had contracted the virus.

Coetzee says she has seen nothing about the variant that warrants panic.

“No one here in South Africa is known to have been hospitalized with the Omicron variant, nor is anyone here believed to have fallen seriously ill with it,” writes Coetzee.

She also says the variant has been circulating South Africa for “some time.”

Viruses — such as COVID-19 — have their own DNA or RNA, therefore allowing them to mutate into new forms.

“This virus is going exactly how you’d expect,” Dr. Steven Pelech, chair of the Scientific and Medical Advisory Committee at the Canadian Covid Care Alliance, told the Western Standard.

“Strains are going to predominate which are more infectious and mild. That’s how it displaces other variants, it doesn’t kill the host. The host often doesn’t even know they are infected.”

Pelech — who is far from alone in his analysis — suggests the “variants of concern,” including Delta, are merely steps towards COVID-19 evolving into a common coronavirus. One that is highly infectious and exceedingly mild.

The Canadian government implemented additional travel restrictions in response to Omicron on November 30 — built upon previous measures.

“We know that these concerning mutations can arise and, where vaccinations are low in parts of the world, they can spread rapidly,” said BC Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry on Tuesday.

BC officials say the province will have more information on Omicron and its implications — such as vaccine efficacy — in the coming weeks.

“Isn’t this the same playbook we heard a year ago with the Delta variant?” said Pelech.

Surrey RCMP investigating rocks thrown from overpass

Multiple vehicles, including a transit bus, were damaged by rocks hurled from the pedestrian overpass. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Published

Several incidents involving rocks thrown onto Highway 99 in South Surrey have prompted an investigation from Surrey RCMP.

Multiple vehicles, including a transit bus, were damaged by rocks hurled from the pedestrian overpass. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The first incident took place on November 26, at 7:44 p.m. when a semi-truck and bus were struck with rocks. The following incident, involving another two semi-trucks occurred three days later on November 29 at 10:49 p.m., and most recently, November 30 at 10:20 p.m. when yet another two semi-trucks were damaged.

“These incidents are very concerning. Throwing objects off of the overpass has the potential to cause serious or even fatal injuries to the occupants of vehicles,” said Cpl. Vanessa Munn, Surrey RCMP.

“We are asking anyone with information to contact police. If you reside in the area please check your residential cameras and be sure to report all suspicious activity to police.”

The overpass where these incidents took place is between the 32 Avenue and King George Boulevard exits of Highway 99.
