WATCH: Kelowna security guard suffers vile racist tirade

“Go back to your country.”

Kelowna RCMP is investigating after a video surfaced showing a man verbally berating a security guard outside of a vaccine clinic.

Police initially responded to a complaint regarding protesters outside of the clinic.

“The original complaint was that protesters were impeding access to the clinic,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP.

“Officers (who) attended spoke with staff, and dealt with the protesters. No arrests were made at that time.”

Afterwards, a video emerged of one protester yelling racially charged comments at a staff member who had asked him to leave the property.

The man in the video has been identified by police, who are in the process of conducting a full investigation into the incident.

“We are now investigating this incident through the lens of the wilful promotion of hatred under Section 319 of the Criminal Code,” said Noseworthy.

“Racism has no place in our community, and I want to reassure the public that this matter is being given the full attention of our General Investigative Support Team in consultation with the Provincial Hate Crimes Unit.”

Amid the spewing of racist word vomit, the rage-filled man can be heard telling the calm and collected security guard, Anmol Singh, to “go back to your country” and that he is “disgusting.”

Singh did not allow the situation to escalate, despite relentless abuse.

The man in question – holding a sign that read, “You are about to take part in a medical experiment with uninformed consequences, do you have informed consent on injury and death numbers?” – was part of a small group of protesters that has been demonstrating outside of vaccine clinics in Kelowna as of recent weeks.

Others who have shown public concern about the potential risks surrounding COVID vaccinations want to be clear that the behaviour of the man in the video, and those harassing people outside of clinics, represent a fringe minority.

“There were many races and many ages. Nothing but appreciation and love for everyone,” said a Vancouver-based business consultant named Jasmine, while describing her experience at various protests and rallies addressing COVID lock-downs and vaccine concerns.

“I was speaking with random strangers as if we were friends. A lot of people go for support because they feel like they get bullied by others who are putting them down for their own views and wanting to have sovereignty over their own bodies.

“I have friends who have taken it (the COVID vaccine) and friends who have not. I have family members who have taken it and family members who have not. There is nothing but love from me and I fully support everybody, whatever their choice is.

“I have no idea where racism is coming from.”

As for the man in the video, anyone who witnessed this confrontation is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at (250) 762-3300.

Why do they need to report this crap? As if we don’t hear enough of this garbage on CBC. It’s useless non-productive trash. I’m really disappointed with WS for publishing this waste of time crap. Thinking about cancelling my membership… Confused… Are they getting funding from our liberal fascist government now??

Seems pretty tame. Old White Guy (OWG) wants to warn people about lies the government is relentlessly promulgating gets illegally harassed by Mall Cop hired by same Government.

    1) 00:08 Old White Guy [OWG] on sidewalk (which is public property) out-side clinic (perhaps private but likely a public gov building) with sign (non-violent protest) is verbally advising people of the lies government is promoting = totally legal form of protest/opposition and free speech.

OWG is annoyed by Mall Cop interfering with his legitimate rights of free speech.

    2) 00:11 Mall cop claims he is protecting property which is FALSE as OWG is not on Clinic property NOR is he physically accosting/assaulting anyone/anything.

    3) 00:13 OWG counters the Mall Cop falsehood and tells him he is “not talking” to Mall Cop and “to get out of his face” as Mall Cop continues to interfer with OWG conversation with unsuspecting member of public presumablly about to her submission to a dangerous, untested jab.

    4) 00:15 Mall Cop asserts that “she is under my protection” (I suppose referring to subject person filming the video or other adjacent person outside frame) and that therefore OWG “can not talk to her”. Said female offers no assent to corroborate that claim. OWG get irate with Mall Cop over obvious falsehood and tells him to “shut up” and adds “she does not need protection” given fact he is not doing anything physical and was merely (attempting) to engaging is conversation/discussion.

    5) 00:19 OWG then tells Mall Cop to “to go back to your country” and that “you are not a Canadian”.

It should be noted that there is nothing wring about challenging a Security Guards citizenship or knowledge of law as 1) Citizenship IS NOT required and 2) Training for a Security Guard is via 10hrs Online Course/Test costing $149 (and Legal Section is only 1.5hrs).

    6) Finally at 00:58 OWG sez “go back to India” and “we don’t want you here” as “you don’t know Canadian law or Canadin Rights” – which given Mall Cop is obstructing a citizens legitimate right to protest/express himself seems a fair assertion.

    7) 01:08 OWG repeats that Mall Cop does not know law and Mall Cop tells him “he doesnt have to worry” and OWG replys “yes I do cuz you’re in my face” interfereing with “where I can stand and who I can talk to”.
That’s it? No racial slurs/insults – apart from telling him to “go back to where you came from” (without mentioning any racial category)?

Only a real Canadain would call this “racist”.
This is a tempest in a teapot.
Governments are abusing our rights in a monsterous fashion and using Mall Cops and Storekeepers as their minions.

Yes we have a right to be furious.
I commend OWG for his behaviour and Mall Cop should be fired for gross incompetence.

This incident wouldn’t have been recorded if the white guy had kept his mouth shut CWILLIAMS. Why take it out on the Sikh security guard? There’s a very good chance the offender was a racist anyways. Guess we will see.

As a soldier I worked & trained with Sikh’s. I worked with many Sikh’s who drove at Calgary Transit & never had a problem with any of them. Also Sikh’s are highly regarded by the Queen of England FYI.

Hundreds of Albertans protest in front of UCP MLA offices over COVID restrictions

So just a few hours after Kenney brought in the new restrictions on Wednesday, ready they were – and about a dozen MLA offices were picketed.

He knew they couldn’t stop the government from bringing in even more COVID-19 restrictions, but Jordon Kosik wanted to be ready to show his displeasure.

Operating two Facebook groups, Holding MLAs Accountable and Closed for Fall, Kosik had his 17,000 members ready to protest just hours after Premier Jason Kenney brought in a fourth COVID-19 lockdown, which this time includes vaccination passports.

“A couple of weeks ago, we knew something was happening,” Kosik said in a Thursday interview with the Western Standard.

“There was nothing we could do to stop it, but what we could do is get ready.”

So just a few hours after Kenney brought in the new restrictions on Wednesday, ready they were – and about a dozen MLA offices were picketed.

Some had a handful of people show up, while others had scores of people.

“This was on organic protest, people in their own ridings,” said Kosik.

And Kovik thinks this won’t be the end of restrictions, with more likely in a couple of weeks.

“To get ready for that we have to network, network, network,” Koik said.

Vancouver gangster killed in daylight shooting

Several news sources said the homicide victim was well-known in Vancouver’s illicit drug trade.

Vancouver cops are on the hunt for an armed killer after a gangster was slain Wednesday during a daylight shooting in Vancouver’s core area.

Amandeep Manj, 35, a known member of the United Nations gang, was shot about 3:30 p.m while sitting inside his car in the parking lot of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel near Canada Place.

Soon after he bloodied body was discovered, paramedics raced to the lot, but Manj was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they’re convinced the shooting was a targeted hit.

Several news sources said the homicide victim was well-known in Vancouver’s illicit drug trade.

Manj’s brother, Jodh Manj, also died a violent death three years ago when he was killed while leaving a Mexico City gym.

Vancouver Police Const. Tania Visintin told the Vancouver Sun Manj is the city’s 13th homicide of 2021.

She told the paper officers responded to level three of the parkade near Cordova and Burrard streets “after a man was found unresponsive by a witness.”

Police have made no arrests in the case, and ask anyone who may have information about the shooting to contact Vancouver police.

COVID vaccines changing their names

The FDA approved new names in the US earlier this summer.

What’s in a name? Plenty, apparently, when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines in Canada.

Health Canada announced Thursday it will accept the change in new brand names of the three most common vaccines Pfizer, Moderna and Oxford-AstraZeneca.

The Moderna vaccine will go by SpikeVax and the AstraZeneca vaccine will be named Vaxzevria.

The Pfizer vaccine will now be called Comirnaty, which the company said represents a combination of the terms COVID-19, mRNA, community, and immunity.

CBC said the vaccines didn’t go by their brand name initially, but now that new and more long-term data has been submitted and approved they will go by their permanent name.

Canada is still expected to receive vials labelled Pfizer-BioNTech for the next several months.

The FDA approved new names in the US earlier this summer.
