The first two UCP cabinet ministers are calling on Premier Jason Kenney to apologize for his Sky Palace shindig. While two other UCP MLAs have said Kenney should do a mea culpa,  Leela Aheer, Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism, and Status of Women, and Minister of Community and Social Services Rajan Sawhney are the first cabinet minister to do so. It is more than revealing and explanatory that Premier Kenney and the upper tier of his cabinet conduct meetings and presumably set policy for Albertans while intoxicated.

Apology, ha, these two-faced double standard, hypocrites at the SKY PALACE need to resign or demand Kenney resign. I still want to know who the woman was in those shots. I declare like MANY I will never EVER vote UCP again.

In CMOH Order 22-2021, the order currently in effect about face masks, in section 14.1, it says that the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) (in other words, Dr. Deena Hinshaw) can exempt any “person or class of persons from the application of this Order.” In other words, she may have given an exemption or exemptions to Jason and his gang from wearing face masks. I have not examined other orders in detail, but it’s conceivable that she might have granted exemptions to Jason and his gang from other things, as well (such as social distancing, gathering together in numbers greater than what’s allowed for the rest of us).

Hey Minister of Energy, MLA Sonya Savage, Calgary West. Why are you so bloody quiet? Why are you not speaking out for the Calgarians who are really really pissed at Premier Jason Kenney?

Your silence has been noted, for quite a while now. I’ve said it before I’ll say it again. From UCP to WIPA for me and from CPC to Maverick Party for me too. My votes are walking away & many more are walking too.

No Media Bailouts

The fourth estate is critical to a functioning democracy in holding the government to account. An objective media can't maintain editorial integrity when it accepts money from a government we expect it to be critical of.

We the undersigned call on the Canadian government to immediately cease all payouts to media companies.
